Your child deserves more than a list of options.
The AI Career Literacy Programme teaches secondary school students how to think about their future. Not just what to do. It's not about AI tools. It's about giving your child the thinking skills to handle whatever comes next.

What your child gains
Five sessions. Skills for life, not just the next job.
- The ability to ask better questions: of AI, of teachers, of employers
- Confidence exploring careers that didn't exist five years ago
- A practical framework for making decisions in a rapidly changing world
- Exposure to career paths at the intersections of industries
- Skills that strengthen their GCSE choices and whatever comes after
Your future will not be defined by what you know. It will be defined by how you think.
What this programme is not.
This is not a programme about using AI tools. Your child will not be taught to rely on ChatGPT or any other system.
The programme is about one thing: teaching students to think independently in a world that changes constantly. AI is the context. Not the content.
The skills your child develops apply equally to navigating careers, evaluating information, making decisions, and asking the kinds of questions that lead to better outcomes in everything they do.
What we built to keep your child safe.
We know parents have questions about AI. What happens if the AI says something inappropriate? What if my child says something worrying? Who is actually watching? These are the right questions to ask, and here is how we've answered them.
Certain things never reach the AI at all.
Before Career Compass processes any message, it passes through a detection layer that runs entirely separately from the AI. Serious content (self-harm, crisis signals, explicit material) triggers an immediate, fixed response. The AI is not involved. There is no improvisation. The student sees a pre-written message with appropriate support resources before anything else happens.
Every message is monitored in real time.
Compass monitors every conversation for signs of distress, safeguarding concerns, and age-inappropriate content. Not after the fact, but as each message is sent. This includes indirect expressions: a student who says “everyone hates me” or “I just want to disappear” is noticed and responded to differently than a career question.
The safeguarding team is notified immediately.
When a serious concern is flagged, the Aspiro safeguarding team receives an email at that exact moment, before any other action is taken. For the most serious concerns, our CEO contacts your child’s school Designated Safeguarding Lead directly. That contact is made by a named person, not an automated system.
If your child has a difficult session, the next one reflects it.
If your child says something concerning, Compass doesn’t forget it when they return. At the start of the next session, Compass checks in. Warmly, naturally, not clinically: “Hey, how are you doing today?” That awareness persists until a named member of the team reviews and removes the flag.
Privacy and safety are not in conflict.
Your child’s conversations are private to them. That privacy is what makes the guidance honest. Aspiro is designed so that both things can be true at once: a student can speak openly with Compass, and if something serious comes up, the right people are told. Students are informed at sign-up that this is how it works. No hidden surveillance.
