For schools
How do students get access?
Schools sign up and we create student accounts. Students receive an email invitation and sign in directly. No student under 16 can create their own account.
Does it replace our careers advisor?
No. It extends them. Compass is available 24/7. Your careers advisor focuses on the students who need a human conversation most.
What is your safeguarding escalation process?
The platform monitors every student message in real time. Serious concerns trigger an immediate response to the student and an instant alert to the Aspiro safeguarding team. For Category 1 concerns (danger to self or others), our CEO contacts the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead directly, by phone in the first instance, within four hours, or immediately for acute risk. Which Gatsby Benchmarks does it support?
Platform usage contributes to Benchmarks 2 (career and labour market information), 3 (addressing the needs of each student), and 8 (personal guidance).
How much does it cost?

For parents
Can I see what my child is saying to the AI?
No. Conversations are private to your child at every subscription tier, without exception. You see their progress and achievements, not their conversations.
What happens if my child says something worrying to the AI?
Compass monitors every message in real time. If a student says something that raises a safeguarding concern, an immediate response is sent with crisis support numbers including Samaritans (116 123) and Shout (text 85258). The Aspiro safeguarding team is notified at the same moment. If the concern warrants it, we contact the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead directly. The AI never improvises in these situations. Those responses are pre-written and fixed.
Can the AI say harmful or inappropriate things to my child?
No. Explicit or age-inappropriate content triggers an immediate stop. The AI is prevented from responding at all. The platform is designed so the AI is never in the position of deciding how to handle a crisis or inappropriate request. That decision is made before the AI is involved.
Does my child under 16 need my consent?
Yes. Schools are responsible for obtaining parental consent as part of their standard data protection processes before students are given access.
How much does it cost for parents?
Parents can sign up for free and your child gets full access to Career Compass. A free account doesn't include a parent dashboard. Upgrade to a premium parent subscription to see your child's progress, achievements, and readiness score. Contact us for pricing details.
For students
Does it remember me between sessions?
Yes. That's the core feature. Career Compass remembers your profile, your interests, and your previous conversations across every session.
Is my conversation private?
Yes. Always. Your parents, school, and Aspiro staff do not see what you say to Compass under normal circumstances. The only exception is a serious safeguarding concern, and you'll be told if that applies.
